This article explains how to gather logs from Maximo Anywhere apps installed on an iOS device like iPhone or iPad. It works with any of Anywhere apps including Work Execution, Inspection, Inventory etc.
Prerequisites
- Maximo Anywhere app installed on an iOS device
- Xcode installed on MacBook
Using Xcode to view logs
1- Connect iOS device to MacBook through USB cable. Trust the MacBook to establish connection, you may have to click Trust on the popup dialog on the device.
2- Launch Xcode and click on ‘Window -> Devices and Simulators’ from the menu.
Following window will show up.
3- Click on ‘Open Console’.
4- This will show logs from the device for all apps. Create a filter based the relevant process as shown in the above window. The logs for filtered to WorkExecution process only.
